Nutrition for Fertility
No matter where you are on the path to parenthood, you have come to right place. Considering starting a family or adding another member to your family, can bring about many emotions, along with countless questions. One of the most important places to start is by nourishing your body with whole, nutritious foods to prepare your body for conception.
The Feed Your Fertile Body!™ program includes six modules that identify ways to strengthen fertility in both men and women (as both play important roles in conception). This program is also suitable for same-sex couples and those who wish to be solo parents.
This 6-module program includes:
The link between healthy fats and fertility
How sugar and artificial sweeteners can have an impact on health
Basic techniques for food preparation
Strategies to decrease inflammation in the body
Strategies to optimize digestion
The importance of a healthy gut microbiome
Each couple/parent-to-be will be given a workbook that will provide additional information and resources on nutrition (including recipes), lifestyle behaviors, and applications to your day-to-day routine to help empower you to nourish the body with the ingredients it needs to grow a healthy baby!
How does it work?
This is a self-paced option as you work through the workbook provided. We will meet either in-person or via video call for a 30-minute session after the completion of each module to go into the topics in more detail and to answer any questions you may have. Self-paced program must be completed within 3 months.
This option include six 60-minute group sessions for you (plus your partner) along with 4-6 other participants. You will be guided through the six modules, with time for questions, instructor demonstrations, and group discussions. Due to Covid-19, all group classes will be held via Zoom until further notice.

4/10, 4/17, 4/24, 5/1, 5/8, and 5/15 from 10-11am PST.

Individual sessions- personalized nutritional consultation for you (and/or your partner). This can be done while also enrolled in the program or upon completion of the program.
Food preparation workshops- Katie can demonstrate how to prepare nutritious recipes from the workbook and beyond. This can be done as a group or per couple.
Kitchen/pantry clean outs/swaps- assistance with going through your kitchen and pantry to make nutritious and safer products swaps.
Product clean outs/upgrades- assistance with sorting through cleaning products, personal care products, and any other additional products around the home that may be impacting fertility.
Grocery store/farmer's market tours- go shopping with Katie! She'll help you navigate the grocery store aisles, along with checking out the local farmer's markets to optimize your time and food quality.
